1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clarity Engineering website (“Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
Use of the Site does not create a client–engineer relationship. A formal relationship is established only through an executed Agreement between the individual or entity receiving services (“The Client”) and Clarity Engineering (“The Consultant”).
2. About Our Services
Clarity Engineers provides structural engineering services including, but not limited to:
- Load-bearing wall removal evaluations
- Structural feasibility assessments
- Structural design for remodels and additions
- Permit-ready structural drawings
- On-site structural assessments
- Residential and light commercial structural engineering
All information on the Site is for general informational purposes only. Engineering recommendations are valid only when provided through signed and stamped Construction Documents as part of a formal Agreement.
3. Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Misuse, disrupt, or interfere with Site functionality
- Attempt unauthorized access to any systems
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Site content without written permission
- Use the Site for unlawful or harmful purposes
The Consultant may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time without notice.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, images, branding, and layout—is owned by or licensed to The Consultant. No content may be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
5. Estimates & Project Information
Any estimates or preliminary information provided through the Site or communication channels are non-binding and subject to change following site visits, structural analysis, or review of project documents. Final scope, fees, and deliverables are governed solely by the executed Agreement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, The Consultant is not liable for:
- Reliance on general information provided on the Site
- Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Site
- Errors, omissions, or interruptions in Site functionality
Engineering liability is governed exclusively by the executed Agreement and its Terms & Conditions, including all limitations of liability and indemnification provisions.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party platforms (e.g., scheduling tools, payment processors). The Consultant is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold The Consultant harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in Los Angeles County.
10. Changes to These Terms
The Consultant may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
